History

Founded in

Finland, in 2004

Everon was founded in 2004 by Markus Merne, in Finland.

At the time, care call communication systems operated using basic analogue technology, and offered limited personalisation. Everon was established with the aim of using digital solutions to bring reassurance and independence to everyone throughout their individual care journey and enable providers to empower staff. This remains its central mission.

Everon Oy was incorporated in 2007 in Finland, with a UK business being established in 2009 and its Swedish counterpart in 2010.

Collaborative partnerships

The Group’s current portfolio is based on an advanced, open, digital platform which enables systems to be designed and configured to suit every care environment and unique user needs. This also supports collaborative working with other technology providers, such as Onics, Howz and Cair, offering housing providers and local authorities a suite of interoperable assisted living technology solutions.

Enabling more proactive care

Today, Everon is Europe’s largest provider of digital wireless cloud based assisted living solutions, with over a million connections across the group. It invests around 10% of its turnover into research and development, with its innovation team working on further enhancing its ecosystem to provide intelligent, actionable insight which enables more proactive care.

Delivering person-centred innovation across Finland, UK and Sweden.
