We are thrilled to announce that we have achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management systems (ISMS), reinforcing our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security, governance and risk management across the organisation.
The certification formally recognises the robust security practices already embedded throughout Everon’s operations in Sweden, Finland and the UK.
Following an independent audit of Everon’s core operational functions, including Sales, Delivery and Customer Service, auditors highlighted the organisation’s strong security and privacy culture, commitment to information security, and well-established management processes. The assessment also recognised Everon’s effective use of IT systems, product management approach and customer support procedures.
For customers, ISO/IEC 27001 certification provides independent assurance that Everon’s services and operational processes are governed by formal controls, regularly assessed for risk and subject to continuous improvement. To further support transparency, Everon recently launched its Trust Center, providing customers and stakeholders with access to information relating to security, compliance and governance.
The audit also recognised Everon’s security-by-design approach, with security considerations embedded throughout product development and prioritisation processes to ensure data protection and resilience remain integral to the solutions delivered.
Jarkko Rantanen, Quality Manager at Everon Group, said: “This certification is important to us because it reflects how we already operate as a business. Security, governance and data protection are not something we have introduced for an audit; they are embedded across our organisation and form a key part of our foundation.
“Our standards and ways of working are designed around supporting our customers and the people they care for. As housing and care providers increasingly rely on connected, cloud-based systems, maintaining trust and protecting sensitive information is critical. ISO/IEC 27001 provides independent assurance that our processes, systems and culture are aligned to those expectations.”
ISO/IEC 27001 certification requires ongoing surveillance audits and independent reassessment every three years, ensuring a continually maintained and evolving approach to information security.
As digital transformation continues across housing, health and social care, Everon Group remains committed to delivering secure, reliable and trusted technology solutions that support better outcomes for customers and the people they serve.
